The Time to Install Report explains when spam and click injection pattern occurred in your traffic.
Overview
Use Time to Install Report to get visibility into common fraudulent techniques including click spam and click injection. This report will help you to further prevent exploitation by these methods, giving insights and ads optimisation of publishing sources.
To access Time to Install Report, go to Analytics > Time to install
Navigating the Time to Install Report
1. Filter
Filters give the ability to drill down and reveal additional levels of detail of your data. It is a great way to gain a deep understanding of how click spam and click injection contribute to your invalid traffic. You can filter on multiple values for all filtering options which are:
Property
Campaign
Country
Status reason
Applied filters persist across all reports and help you navigate easily through your activity.
2. Click Injection and Click Spam Tab
Selecting one of these tabs will show data related to each tab:
Click Injection: Displays click injection related data
Click Spam: Displays click spam related data
3. Time Zones and Date Time Ranges
By default, the timezone is set to UTC and the range is set to the last 7 days. You can choose your preferred time zone and date-time range.
4. Plotting Area
When the filters, timezone and other required fields are selected, the plotting area is updated to reflect the chosen data. If no data is present, then the plotting area will show a flat chart.
The Time to Install Report only shows you install transaction and the time it takes when an ad is clicked to when the app is installed.
5. Group By
Grouping similar data together is another great way to gain a better understanding of how click spam and click injection take place. You can group by:
Partner
Partner / Site ID
Campaign
Country
The result of the group-by method will appear in the data table below. For example, group by Partner will return the list of all partners and their relevant data.
7. Data Table
Data Table shows the numerical values of installs, percentage of installs and the time measurement:
Under 10 seconds
10 to 30 seconds
Over 30 seconds
💡 Tip
Clicking a line item in the data table will add the value in the report's filter. You can then navigate to a different report, to analyse the data for the selected filter. This filter persists across reports.
