There can be multiple reasons why you can't see certain data populating.

Google Ads data

Data imported from Google Ads is not reported in realtime and is refreshed daily. Data for the current day will be empty, if you have completed the setup today then please wait 24 hours for data to start populating. Learn more

Note: If you have Google Ads tracking set up at a lower level (keyword, campaign, ad or ad group), Google will prioritise these over TrafficGuard's account level tracking and we will not be able to track Google Ads data.

TrafficGuard's tracking template is normally implemented at the account level in Google Ads, it's Google's standard method of tracking, through which TrafficGuard receives click information in order to detect & mitigate invalid clicks.

  • If you have an existing tracking template at account level in Google Ads please follow this article.

  • If you have SA360 please follow this article.

If your tracking templates at the lower levels are parameters starting with {lpurl} then you can simply copy the parameter and paste it in final URL suffix at the same level without the {lpurl} macro, then remove whatever is at the tracking template field. This will ensure that TrafficGuard's tracking template at account level will fire and your original setup will remain as is.

Your site data

Please check your Site tag tracking setup:

  • Make sure you have added the TrafficGuard tracking template to your site, you can do this by navigating to Account details > click Property Settings > click on your Property

  • The Site tracker tag is available in the Properties sidesheet. Follow the instructions to integrate it within the <head> tag of your site. The Site tag can also be installed via various third party platforms.
