Overview

As a full-funnel measurement and verification solution, TrafficGuard enables you to track the full user journey of user right from the first click, through to your website and the key actions they during the session which can be tracked as a conversion.

The TrafficGuard conversion snippet is fired anytime a conversion takes place.

Insights gained from the conversion data allows TrafficGuard to understand the customer's behaviour allowing us to differentiate fake traffic from genuine traffic.

Prerequisites

The conversion tracking works in combination with the Site tag. You need to ensure that the Site Tag is implemented on the page where your conversion takes place.

Navigating to the Conversion report

To navigate to the 'Conversions & Events' report, log into your TrafficGuard dashboard and scroll to the "Conversions" section. This report provides you insight into the conversions you are tracking within TrafficGuard.

1. Filters

Filters give the ability to drill down and reveal additional levels of detail of your data. It is a great way to understand the distribution of click fraud for your PPC campaign. You can filter on multiple values for all filtering options fall under:

  • Event Type

  • % of total

  • Conversion value

  • Conversions

  • Users

2. Date and Time Range

By default, the date range is set to the last 7 days. You can choose your preferred date-time range.

3. Data Table

The Data table shows you the metrics for each conversion event you are tracking.

4. Plotting Area

You can then plot these events into the graph to compare.

5. Managing Columns

  • Click on the expand view function to see your data in fullscreen.

  • You can choose to include or exclude any column by clicking on the three horizontal lines icon located on the top right-hand side of the data table.

  • To segment the existing columns, you can choose to view the data by network or devices used by clicking on the three vertical lines icon located right next to the data table columns icon.
