PPC Devices Report

PPC Device Report allows you to discover how many device types, brand, and model are associated with click fraud occurring in your PPC campaigns.


PPC Device report lets you see your data split by various device types, brand & models. This helps you get further insight into the performance of each type of device. 

To access PPC Devices Report, go to Analytics > Device

Navigating PPC Devices Report

1. Filters

Filters give the ability to drill down and reveal additional levels of detail of your data. It is a great way to understand the distribution of click fraud for your PPC campaign. You can filter on multiple values for all filtering options which are:

  • Ad
  • Ad group
  • Ad network
  • Brand
  • Campaign
  • City
  • Country
  • Device models
  • Device types
  • Keywords
  • Placement
  • Plan quota exceeded
  • State
  • Status
  • Status reason

Applied filters persist across all reports and help you navigate easily through your activity.

2. Date and Time Ranges

By default, the date range is set to the last 7 days. You can choose your preferred date-time range.


Our Protect PPC plan retains the last 90 days worth of data. 

3. Data Field for Plotting

You can visualise different data dimension by choosing two of the options below:

  • Invalid clicks
  • Ad clicks
  • Visitors from ads
  • Filtered clicks
  • % Visitors rate
  • % Invalid click rate

The selection of two data fields will automatically plot a corresponding chart for you.

4. Plotting Area

When the filters other required fields are selected. The plotting area will be updated accordingly. If no data is present, then the plotting area will show a flat chart.


5. Group By

Grouping similar data together is another great way to gain a better understanding of your invalid traffic. You can group by:

  • Device type
  • Device brand
  • Device model

The result of the group-by method will appear in the data table (6). For example, group by Device type will return the list of all device types and its relevant click information.

6. Data Table

Data Table shows the volumes of PPC clicks. You can scroll to the right to see every available column. By default, you can see:

  • Ad clicks
  • Visitors from ads
  • Visitors rate
  • Invalid clicks
  • Filtered clicks
  • Invalid click rate

7. Managing Columns

You can choose to include or exclude any column by clicking on the three vertical dot icon located on the top right-hand side of the data table.

Clicking a line item in the data table will add the value in the report's filter. You can then navigate to a different report, to analyse the data for the selected filter. This filter persists across reports.

8. Plot Rows

When using group by method, you may want to see more granular data on a chart (e.g. by Device type). This can be achieved by selecting one or multiple placements (up to five types) and then clicking on 'Plot Rows' button. The plotting area will be updated accordingly.
