Why do I need to give manager access to TrafficGuard?

We require Google Ads manager access to your customer account in order for our ad solution to work behind the scenes and protect your google ads against ad fraud.

This is a standard way of tracking that Google allows for any solution to track Google activity.

Once TrafficGuard has access, it will automatically add an account level tracking template in your account whilst keeping your existing setup the same. Through this template, Google passes click data to TrafficGuard for verification.
When in Prevention mode, TrafficGuard adds Campaign Level IP exclusions to make sure Google Ads excludes these invalid IPs while serving ads, so the budget is spent towards valuable users.

Other than the tracking template and IP exclusion (Premium feature), TrafficGuard does not make any changes in your account.

You can track TrafficGuard's activity in the Change History tab of your Google Ads Account.

This access is required for both the Protect PPC and Protect Pro PPC plans. However, IP exclusion is a premium feature and only available on the paid plans.
