Is it necessary to implement the JS Tag?
TrafficGuard PPC setup comprises two parts -
1. Google Ads Integration - Connecting Google Ads Customer account with TrafficGuard & implementing our tracking template
2. JS tag - Implementing our JS tag on the website.
Both these steps are extremely important in detecting invalid activity on your account.
Google Ads communicates the click details to TrafficGuard & the JS Tag allows it to track & analyse the user activity after they have clicked on an ad and determine whether the user is valid / invalid.
If it's an invalid user, TrafficGuard makes an accurate determination of the user's threat level and propensity to convert, and then automates the adding of the invalid IPs to Google IP exclusion list.
