TrafficGuard modes control what actions are taken when invalid clicks, installs and events are detected.
Detection only
In this mode TrafficGuard will analyse and report on invalid traffic only. Clicks, installs and events will not be blocked or rejected.
For PPC accounts Google Ads IP Exclusions lists will not be updated.
Basic Prevention
In this mode TrafficGuard will analyse and report on invalid traffic. TrafficGuard will also prevent invalid traffic from Known hosts.
Prevention
In this mode TrafficGuard will analyse and report on invalid traffic. TrafficGuard will use advanced detection methods to invalidate and prevent invalid clicks, installs and events.
Where applicable, Prevention mode will also facilitate pre-bid optimisation for programmatic display.
For applicable PPC Protection accounts, Prevention Mode will update the Google Ads IP Exclusions lists.
