TrafficGuard tracks all campaigns on the Google Ads account you connected to, automatically. You don't need to configure campaigns individually. You can filter by campaign on the reports to see traffic quality for a specific campaign.
However, the level of protection available depends on your campaign type and plan.
Detectable campaign types
TrafficGuard detects invalid traffic across all campaign types, including those where prevention is not available. Detection means invalid clicks are reported and visible in your dashboard, but no automatic exclusions are applied.
Preventable campaign types
TrafficGuard can automatically add invalid IP addresses to your Google Ads exclusion list for the following campaign types:
✅ Search ✅ Display ✅ Shopping ✅ Performance Max (Enterprise plan only — see below)
Non-preventable campaign types
The following campaign types do not support IP-level exclusion via the Google Ads API, which means TrafficGuard can detect invalid traffic but cannot prevent it automatically. Learn more about IP exclusion support in Google Ads

ℹ️ Performance Max — Enterprise only
Prevention for Performance Max campaigns is available on the Scale (Enterprise) plan only. Subscription customers will see Performance Max data in detection reporting but prevention will not be applied to these campaigns.
Rather than IP exclusions, TrafficGuard uses audience-based exclusions to prevent invalid traffic on PMax campaigns. This is because Google Ads does not support campaign-level IP exclusions for Performance Max.
