Use PPC Ad Groups Report to view fraudulent clicks on Ad Groups level.

Overview

PPC Ad Groups Report shows you Ad Group level data for invalid clicks, visitors from ads, invalid click rate, etc. the connection between ad groups and ad click related data such as invalid clicks, filtered clicks and visitors from ads.

To access PPC Ad Groups Report, go to Acquisition > Ad Groups

1. Filters

Filters give the ability to drill down and reveal additional levels of detail of your data. It is a great way to understand the distribution of click fraud for your PPC campaign. You can filter on multiple values for all filtering options fall under:

  • Attributes

  • Ad engagement

  • Behaviour

  • Exclusion

  • Google Ads

  • Network connection

  • Reach

  • Variation

Applied filters persist across all reports and help you navigate easily through your activity.


2. Date and Time Ranges

By default, the date range is set to the last 7 days. You can choose your preferred date-time range.

3. Data Field for Plotting

Use the drop down arrow on these filters to create and compare the chart with different metrics.

4. Plotting Area

When the filters and other required fields are selected, the plotting area will be updated accordingly. If no data is present, then the plotting area will show a flat chart.

The plotting area allows you to see various Campaigns as a graph and compare different data fields over a period of time.

5. Data Table

Data Table shows the volumes of PPC clicks. You can scroll to the right to see every available column.

6. Managing Columns

  • Click on the expand view function to see your data in fullscreen.

  • You can choose to include or exclude any column by clicking on the three horizontal lines icon located on the top right-hand side of the data table.

  • To segment the existing columns, you can choose to view the data by network or devices used by clicking on the three vertical lines icon located right next to the data table columns icon.


πŸ’‘ Tip
Clicking on an item in the data table will add the value in the report's filter. You can then navigate to a different report, to analyse the data for the selected filter. This filter persists across reports.


7. Plot Rows

When using group by method, you may want to see more granular data on a chart (e.g. by Ad). This can be achieved by selecting one or multiple data fields like ads or campaigns (up to five) and then clicking on 'Plot Rows' button. The plotting area will be updated accordingly.
